His
Serbian Patriarch Irinej received a delegation of the
Patriarchate of Constantinople headed by the Most Rev. Metropolitan John
of Pergamon. The event took place at the Patriarchal Residence in
Belgrade on 25 October 2019.
The delegation of the
Patriarchate of Constantinople also consisted of Metropolitans Emmanuel
of France, Maximos of Silivri, Amphilochios of Adrianople, and Deputy
Secretary of the Holy Synod Grigorios.
The meeting was
attended by members of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox
Church: Metropolitan Chrysostom of Dabar-Bosnia, Bishops Irinej of
Backa, Jovan of Sumadia and David of Krusevac as well as of
Metropolitans Amfilohije of Montenegro-Coastlands and Porfirije of
Zagreb-Ljubljana.
