Τhe Serbian Patriarch Irinej received His Excellency Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 6 February 2020.
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch welcomed the Secretary-General of the World Muslim League (رابطة العالم الاسلامي
, Rabitat al-Alam al-Islami) Sheikh al-Issa at the Serbian Patriarchate
in Belgrade with welcoming words, expressing joy over the visit that
fosters cooperation between Orthodox Christian and Muslim religious
dignitaries.
Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Karim al-Issa thanked the
Serbian Patriarch Irinej for a cordial welcome and warm reception,
emphasizing the importance of interfaith peace and dialogue in the world
and the region.
