ECUMENICAL PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW TO PARTICIPATE IN 24-HOUR DRIVE FOR UNITY AMID THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC: TODAY, SATURDAY, MAY 2ND, 2-3PM

His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is participating in a 24-hour drive for unity, The Call to Unite, organized by disability rights activist and film producer Timothy Shriver. It opened Friday evening and features numerous leaders and celebrities offering video messages of solidarity and support amid the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.

View featured videos and see the schedule of speakers and much more at www.unite.us. His All-Holiness is currently scheduled to deliver his message sometime between 2 and 3pm EDT today, Saturday, May 2.
The videos are designed to celebrate someone who has been supportive for the speaker through the pandemic, as well as to explain the speaker plans to #answerthecall for someone else in need.
The Call to Unite is partnering with GiveDirectly to raise direct financial support for families around the world hit hard by the crisis, and with Points of Light to provide opportunities that allow individuals to choose volunteer activities, including remote, virtual and DIY, that fit their needs and interests. For more details, go to www.unite.us.
Please watch the Call to Unite site for the Ecumenical Patriarch’s appearance. His video will also be posted at archons.org as soon as it is available.
