Συνέδριο για την Αγία και Μεγάλη Σύνοδο στο Cluj-Napoca της Ρουμανίας Με τη συμμετοχή του Διευθυντή της Ακαδημίας Θεολογικών Σπουδών
Η Ορθόδοξη Θεολογική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Babes-Bolyai (Cluj-Napoca, Ρουμανία) και το Κέντρο Νομοκανονικών Σπουδών του ιδίου Πανεπιστημίου, διοργάνωσαν από 26 έως 28 Απριλίου 2017 διεθνές συνέδριο με θέμα: «Η Αγία και Μεγάλη Σύνοδος: Εσχατολογικό γεγονός ή εκκλησιακή κανονικότητα;». Το συνέδριο τελούσε υπό την αιγίδα και την ευλογία του Σεβ. Ανδρέα, Μητροπολίτη του Cluj, Maramures και Sălaj, και είχε την υποστήριξη της Γεν. Γραμματείας Θρησκευμάτων της Ρουμανικής Κυβερνήσεως και του Κέντρου Μελέτης και Έρευνας «π. Δημήτριος Στανιλοάε» (Παρίσι). Στο συνέδριο συμμετείχαν θεολόγοι τόσο από τη Ρουμανία όσο και από άλλες χώρες (ΗΠΑ, Ελβετία, Ελλάδα, Σερβία, Πολωνία, Γεωργία).
Το συνέδριο αποσκοπούσε να εξετάσει και να συζητήσει θέματα όπως: τις προϋποθέσεις και τις σύνθετες πτυχές που σχετίζονται με την σύγκληση της Αγίας και Μεγάλης Συνόδου· την υιοθέτηση των κειμένων της Αγίας και Μεγάλης Συνόδου της Κρήτης· την εν εξελίξει συζήτηση αναφορικά με τις αποφάσεις της Αγίας και Μεγάλης Συνόδου· το περίγραμμα των εν γένει θεολογικών προοπτικών και τη θέση των συνοδικών κειμένων στη δογματική και κανονική παράδοση της Εκκλησίας· την πρόσληψη των κειμένων αυτών από τις κατά τόπους Ορθόδοξες Εκκλησίες, όπως επίσης και την καινοτομία και τη σπουδαιότητα των κειμένων της Αγίας και Μεγάλης Συνόδου για τη ζωή της Εκκλησίας· τις θεολογικές και οικουμενικές προοπτικές μετά το πέρας της Μεγάλης και Αγίας Συνόδου της Κρήτης.
Στο συνέδριο έλαβε μέρος, κατόπιν προσκλήσεως, ο Διευθυντής της Ακαδημίας Θεολογικών Σπουδών Βόλου Δρ. Παντελής Καλαϊτζίδης, με εισήγηση που είχε ως θέμα: «Η Αγία και Μεγάλη Σύνοδος της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας, μεταξύ συνοδικής αδράνειας και μεγάλων προσδοκιών: Επιτεύγματα και εκκρεμή ζητήματα στην πορεία πρόσληψής της».
