One week from today, on February 17, the University of Chicago (Divinity School), Fordham University's Orthodox Christian Studies Center, and the Lumen Christi Institute will cohost “For the Life of the World: Toward a Social Ethos of the Orthodox Church.” A panel of leading Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant theologians will examine and discuss this recent social document and its application to the wider Christian world.

The 20th anniversary of the European Ecumenical Charter, known as the “Charta Oecumenica”, will be marked by European Churches on 22 April 2021. The document was signed in 2001 by the presidents of the Council of European Bishops’ Conferences (CCEE) and Conference of European Churches (CEC) to promote closer collaboration and ecumenical dialogue in Europe.

Pope Francis: ‘May Week of Prayer teach us to be more hospitable'

Pope Francis leads an ecumenical prayer service for the close of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity calling for a more hospitable culture, amongst ourselves as Christians and among our brothers and sisters of different confessions.
