Metropolitan Epiphanius described the Paschal message of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Ukrainian language as a sign of respect for the Autocephalous Church of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
The Paschal message of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in the Phanar was read in Ukrainian for the first time.

shows respect for the local Orthodox Church of Ukraine and its people.
This is a good sign of love and respect for the Ukrainian people,”
