Holy and Great Council Press Release

His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew convened a Small Synaxis this morning of the Primates of the Orthodox Churches, at the Orthodox Academy of Crete, to consider a “draft message” of the Holy and Great Council. 

Each Primate was accompanied by two bishops. Earlier this morning the Primates visited the Sacred Patriarchal and Stavropegial Orthodox Monastery of Panagias, Gonias. 

The Holy and Great Council will hold its official opening session on 20 June, and its closing session on 25 June.
