The Orthodox Primates were commemorated, according to the ecclesiastical typikon, during the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy in Limassol, in memory of the patron saint of the city of St. John the Archbishop of Alexandria, without any non-canonical modifications and communicative variants.
Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria, who presided over the Divine Liturgy, commemorated the names of all fifteen Patriarchs and Primates of the indigenous Orthodox Churches in the manner and order that the Orthodox Canon law designates. So, for the first time, on the Cypriot territory, the name of Epifaniy of Kyiv was also commemorated as Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
