THE HOLY AND GREAT COUNCIL IN AAR
In the annual conference of the the American Association of Religion, which started today in San Antonio, Texas, USA, and will last till Tuesday, November 22, there will be a special section in the "History of Christianity" unit on the theme: "The Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church, 2016: A Paradigm Shift in the Church?".
In the panel, scheduled for Monday afternoon local time (4:00 PM–6:00 PM) at the Convention Center-301C (3rd Level), presided by Vera Shevzov (Smith College), will speak:Zachary Ugolnik (Columbia University), Will Cohen (University of Scranton), Brandon Gallaher (University of Exeter) and Elizabeth Prodromou (Tufts University), with Paul Gavrilyuk (University of St. Thomas) responding.
