Hagia Sophia: Eternal Symbol of Holy Wisdom, a "Monument of Un-ageing Intellect”, lecture by Ioli Kalavrezou (Harvard University), Zoom, June 4, 2021, 7:00–8:00 pm (Eastern Time)
His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and the Department of Culture of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America present a virtual presentation commemorating the Fall of Constantinople.
The presentation will feature a lecture by Ioli Kalavrezou, "Hagia Sophia: Eternal Symbol of Holy Wisdom, a 'Monument of Un-ageing Intellect'." Dr. Kalavrezou is Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine Art History at Harvard University. The lecture will be followed by a music tribute curated by Nektarios S. Antoniou, Artistic Director & Senior Advisor for Culture, Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
