Pope Francis visits Bossey to meet both with the leadership of WWC and to meet students from The Ecumenical Institute Bossey. The Ecumenical Institute of Bossey was founded in the aftermath of World War II to promote dialogue and encounter among members of the different Christian churches. Pope Francis also receives a gift from the WCC.
