The Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Church met today, Wednesday, June 12, under the presidency of Patriarch Neophyte of Bulgaria.
During today’s session, the Holy Synod dealt with the letter that
Metropolitan Daniel of Vidin sent to the Metropolitans of the local
Orthodox Churches regarding the granting of Autocephaly to the Church of
Ukraine.
In the official communiqué, the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Church states:
“The view expressed by Metropolitan Daniel in his letter to the Metropolitans of various Orthodox Churches is his personal view.
The Holy Synod is categorically differentiated. In the questions raised by Metropolitan Daniel, the Synod has no solution.”
