We are delighted and honoured that Archbishop Nikitas, the new Αrchbishop of the Αrchdiocese of Thyateira of the Ecumenical Patriarchate has agreed to become the Society’s Orthodox patron in succession to Archbishop Gregorios, who has retired. Archbishop Nikitas, who has a long and distinguished career as a theologian, with particular concern for the service of the Gospel in the world, and its pressing social problems, will speak of the hopes and challenges to Christian unity in society and the present day, with reference to the wider Orthodox Church in light of the Council of Crete and Ukraine, and relations with the Catholic Church. All are welcome, but it is essential that a booking be made for the Talk and also the Reception.
