SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR UKRAINE TO BE OFFERED ACROSS ALL OCU CHURCHES ON JAN 30

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, blessed the church to offer additional special prayers for Homeland on Sunday, January 30, 2022, in all OCU temples.

This is stated by the press service of the Kyiv Metropolis.

With the blessing of His Beatitude, the churches of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine will pray for liberation from the invasion of foreigners and offer prayers in case our Homeland is in under threat. In addition, the address of the head of the OCU to the Ukrainian people will be recited during the services.

It should be recalled that earlier Pope Francis, declared a Day of Prayer for Peace in the context of the situation around Ukraine. On January 26, the pontiff called on all people of good will to pray that every political action would serve the universal brotherhood.
