Aug. 24, 2019 - This morning, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, at the St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv, the Most Blessed Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan EPIPHANIOS, took part in the interfaith prayer for Ukraine, together with the Heads and Representatives of the All Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations. The Old-President Petro Poroshenko and his wife Maryna and Representatives of the Ukrainian intelligentia participated in the service. - The audience performed the spiritual Anthem of Ukraine, the Prayer of the Lord "Our Father" and prayed fpr peace and prosperity of Ukraine by placing candles near the icons of the Cathedral.
