On Saturday, Russian Patriarch Kirill welcomed the delegation of the Romanian Patriarchate, headed by Patriarch Daniel, at the Hall of the Throne of Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Moscow.
The plane bringing the Romanian delegation landed on Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport at 11:05, local time.The Patriarch of Romania is attending the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Patriarchate in the Russian Orthodox Church, on 2-5 december 2017.
During his stay in Moscow, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel will be accompanied by:
- His Eminence Hon Metropolitan Nifon, Archbishop of Târgoviște;
- Rev. Fr. Michael Tița, Patriarchal Adviser,
- Rev. Fr. Ştefan Ababei, Patriarchal Adviser,
- Archdeacon Maxim Ţifui, Eparchial Adviser,
- Rev. Fr. Eugeniu Rogoti.
